| Let me introduce myself. I am Don
Macaulay, once a FJ4 and F8 driver with VMF 232. I am doing some research on the
brother of a friend of mine, Lt. (j.g.) Alfred D. Foster, USNR.. Foster served with VF 33,
flying Corsairs, and was on their '53 med cruise. The squadron transitioned to F9F
Cougars, and he was killed January 6, 1954, in a ramp strike aboard the USS Midway as they
embarked on the squadron's '54 cruise. I would love to get in contact with anyone who might have known and remembered Alfred Foster during his time in the squadron. Any way of getting this message out to your troops. Do you have an e mail message service to your members? If so, I would love to hear any anecdotes or remberences. Thanks. Don Macaulay
