Final Tribute to Billy Glasgow

I'll let Ted Caldwell's note state what was inevitable:

This is the most difficult task I have ever undertaken. I am most grieved to report that Billy Glasgow succumbed to that most terrible of diseases, pancreatic cancer. This debilitating illness had spread to most of his body. Death was swift and peaceful at home in the company of his loving and adoring family. His died Saturday, September 16. Burial will be Tuesday, September 19 at the Parker (Family) Cemetary, Grapevine, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to your local Community Hospice Center.   A special "thank you" from his wife Mary and children for all the thoughts and prayer of the many ex VF-33 Tarsiers. She indicated that "as his suffering was tremendous, she was relieved for his sake, that death came swiftly, easily, and at home surrounded by those that he loved and that loved him." The family is "working on" accepting this tragic but unavoidable event.

"We will be better after tomorrow," she said.

Ted
