HOTEL GROUP ROOM RATES
We have blocked out 30 rooms - a mix of one (1) suite and twenty-nine (29) double queens and single kings - all facing the ocean - at the following hotel:

Hotel confirms the following non-commissionable group rates plus applicable state and local taxes (currently 12.5% plus $1 occupancy) in effect at the time of check in:
Single: $139 Double: $139 Suites: $175

In order to receive your groups special discounted rate, individuals are asked to mention VF-33 when making their reservations. Please note that rates cannot be changed at check-in or check-out for guests who fail to identify their affiliation at the time the reservation is made.

METHOD OF RESERVATIONS
Hotel reservations will be made by individual attendees directly with Marriott reservations at 800-321-2211 or 757-437-0098

CUT-OFF DATE
Reservations by attendees must be received on or before August 14, 2003. At the Cut-Off Date, the Hotel will review the reservation pick up for the event, and release the unreserved rooms for general sales. The Hotel will determine whether or not it can accept reservations based on a space/rate available basis at the VF-33 group rate after this date.

NOTE: BE ADVISED THAT THIS IS SHRINERS CONVENTION WEEK, AND MOST ALL HOTEL ROOMS AT THE BEACH ARE BOOKED FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK. PLEASE MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

Rooms at Kitty Hawk available to VF-33 at a Special Rate

I don't want to sound like one of those commercial rug salesmen, but... the

company that I work for owns a hotel that is less that a mile from the first

flight memorial. In fact the pool side rooms on the east wing have an

excellent view of the memorial... of course most folks normally want the

ocean side rooms but that's another story.

would entertain a discount throughout the year for wayward naval aviators.

He said yes. So if anyone would like to take advantage of this opportunity,

8 mile marker on the Virginia Dare Trail (that's the oceanfront road in Nags

Head). The phone number is 800 338-7761. Make sure you tell them that you

are an old VF-33 Tarsier/Starfighter/Bug eating monkey kind of guy and they

will be sure to give you a good deal. If you want to go down there for all

of the ceremonies in early December be sure to make your reservations

early... they are goin' like hot cakes, we've sold over half of the hotel

to

the federal and state security guys who will be working the event.
